It seem like every day there's a new shooting somewhere. Did they open the door s to the institutions? I'm not one for conspiracy theories but I'm starting to wonder.

Yep, media issue. Notice that most headlines are now saying "SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL used in killing", AR15 ASSAULT RIFLE used to kill..."... used to only say things like "2 dead in failed robbery" or whatever..

No Austin the media is not picking up and covering every single story that has a gun involved. They are only covering the bad side of the story, they are not showing anything good that comes from guns or not covering it to the same as the bad side. Like this story, it wasn't even on the national news from any of my local stations.
