I carried it on my strong side all day, came home, took it out of the holster, wiped it down with a silicone rag and now it's laying beside me on my desk, then it will get to sleep on the headboard and tomorrow we start all over. :)

New sight

Mornin Boys,
I put the #9 Sig rear sight on my 9 UC Pro. Major improvement for me.

I used #9, go here then bottom of page. I've only put 50 rounds through it with the new sight, so far I really like it. I want to put nother 150 rounds through it before I'll be sure the #9 was the right one. But at the moment, I'm pretty sure the #9 is the right one.

Afternoon BT,
just thought I would stop over here and say hi and see what I can learn.
They all seem friendly.

Update,,
Afternoon Boys,
Well, I decided to keep the 3.7 grains of powder but changed the OAL to 1.150. The first test fires showed the weapon was shootin to the right as you can see, no biggie. So I moved the rear sight to the left a little but it was just a lil to much. So I moved it back to the right and I liked it. I glued the rear sight so it would stay, then tried it again and I'll be darn if I wasn't off just a lil, again, darn,, and the rear sight is glued real good. Ok, small problem. So I moved the front sight to the right a tad and it looks like I got it. Now remember, this is a swinging target that I'm shootin at. I can see with the #9 rear sight that I have to aim bout 1/2" under where I want to hit at 21'. I can live with that as I can see what I want to hit.
So, the bottom line is, after I got the bugs worked out and got it sighted in the way I wanted it,, this darn weapon is fun to shoot. I do believe it's now my favorite pistol.
Now for the BAD side of it,,
I enjoy shooting it so much that I am going through my reloads at a faster rate then when I wasn't so happy with it.
I really am enjoying this weapon.

Well, wasn't today, but yesterday... I finally did it - bought my first gun on my own so now I am "on the books"..

Bought a BT380... Here's a random Google search pic of it. I love the 2 tone look of it. Feels great in my hand, have yet to shoot it though. May go Saturday and try it out.

I only wish it was a 9mm instead of the 380

I looked up getting a new slide for my .380 -- wanted a change of scenery.. and came across this forum on the Glock's Facebook due to me buying a Glock 19 Gen 3 this week. So Glock just gained BersaForum a new member. Some things are just meant to be i guess

I haven't done it yet, but I'm planning on taking my wife's plastic grips, putting a primer on it, then painting it OD green.

Yeah, BABY!!!

Congrats Cutlass! This was my first gun exactly, I bought it about 6 or 7 months ago. I was truly happy that I decided to buy this particular model- it got great reviews, its still a strong caliber (no matter what people say), it looks cool and was in my price range. However, i had the same buyer's remorse not long after purchasing it, i wished i would have purchased a 9mm.

Now i am not sure of your reasons for buying your .380 (price etc) but the best thing that i can tell you is that you're never going to be completely satisfied when it comes to buying guns. You're always going to want something newer, bigger, stronger, that has this feature, or that feature etc. but that will all come in time.

Not sure if you read my post earlier, but i bought a Glock 19 (its a 9mm) this week and absolutely love it. But that doesnt mean that if i would have bought the glock first (which i wouldn't have bc i didn't have the dough) i wouldn't have wanted a smaller framed gun. My list still includes at least a .40 and/or a .45 for carry/the car, a .22 for playing around and .38 Special to keep at my family's bar. Each gun has a purpose to me and i could have bought either one first and been "content" but not necessarily "satisfied" if that makes sense. Just shoot your guns as much as possible and get proficient because you've just opened up a can of worms that for most people don't ever close -- guns and fire arms get addicting so take it in strides and enjoy it! Congrats and welcome to the club!

You will be pleased with the 380, I prefer it over the 9mm anyway. Less snappy on the recoil. If I want bigger I just get my .40, no need for the little 9mm then.

Excuse the hijack. Back on track, I took mine BT to the range yesterday and put 30 rounds through it just to warm it up a little. Flawless operation and it ate all that was offered it. :)
