    I used to own a Mossberg 590 like the 1 you have pictured.. Mine had the bayonet lug & sped~fast stock though.. Ppl thought I was morbid when I said I wanted to stab someone then pull the trigger to get'em off my blade.. How do u like the .17 HMR?

    I love the .17HMR, I hope to get a new Savage Mark 2 in .17HMR to match my newest addition a Savage mark 2 BV in .22lr

    I would say my Howa is my favorite, It can reach out and touch something from a long ways off.

    The .308 is a great cartridge for that...and Howa does have a fine reputation for accuracy !
