I copied this from the S&W forum, but many of my shorter replies also seem to bunch words up like this here and there also.
{I had read much of the hate hype online about the Sigma’s before I boughtmine; almost scared me away from them. Mostof what I read was trigger problems, but I’ve always shot revolvers and neverhad a problem with a DA triggers. Iexpected the trigger to be stiff and mine is, but not any worse and it is betterthan many DA revolvers I’ve shot. I alsoliked the idea of a stiff trigger on a gun without a thumb safety. My trigger was also gritty when new, butafter polishing the internal mating surfaces it is very smooth now. The 2 deal makers for me about the SW9VE arethe feel of the gun in my hand. It isvery comfortable to shoot and the trigger reach is about prefect for me. Back when I got my Sigma, they had the 2 freemagazines deal going, so I ended up with a new gun and 4 mags with a lifetime guarantee. I liked the gun so much I would have bought a.45acp version if they ever came out with it. Nothing wrong with the .40, I’ve just already got the 9mm and .45acpammo on hand and don’t own anything in .40 (yet). My SW9VE has been 100% since the day it cameout of the box....}
