Well, I did it. I had been waiting to meet up with the buyer and we did today.

I am officialy no longer a bersa owner (even if I still am a bersa lover). Im a little sad to see it go, I wont lie, but the things I'll get with that money should help ease the pain :D

Sorry to hear that...but, who knows...maybe another will be in your future someday !
I really liked it. It shoot extremley well for a compact .45. I doubt I'll get another because Im out of the caliber entirley now, but I wouldnt mind maybe grabbing a Thunder .380 on the cheap as a range toy. They are just all day kind of fun.

You want an even cheaper range toy get the BT22 I have one and it shoots excellent, a little picky when it comes to ammo though. Looks excactly like the BT380. I love mine almost as much as my UC9 pro. Once you shoot a Bersa you are hooked. I have other firearms but the Bersas seem to get the most range time as far as pistols go. Rifles top dawg was the SKS, then I finished my AR. Just got a Saiga AK47 yesterday. When I do go try it out, you can bet I will have at least one Bersa with me to boot.

What got you out of the .45 fandom?
Money and capacity, mostly. I started using 9mm in comp because of cost, then liked the capacity of my Glock 19 (15+1) and started carrying it and now, Im pretty much all glock 9mm (17's, 19's, etc) and hadnt shot my bersa seriously in about 2 years.

I needed the money to help fund our business expansion and felt that the Bersa .45 was the odd man out, since it was my only .45 left.

So, I dont have anything against the gun or the round, both are great, but for me, I am VERY profficient with my G19, so it makes sense to stick with it.

That's too bad, Heimie. You've been around on the other Bersa forums for a long time.....

You should check out the sister site, www.glockforum.com great group of people over there, much more friendly than glocktalk.
