Anyone into the SKS? I have 3, one Yogu and 2 Chinese.

My YUGO. 7.62X39, grenade launcher on end of a 20" barrel, grenade launcher flip up sight, night flip up sights. All the numbers match on the receiver, trigger group, bolt & carrier and 10 round fixed mag. this gun was made in 1978 and was never refurbished or re-stocked. It is in very good condition and when I got it, it was covered inside & out with cosomoline.

Problem is they are just as addictive as the AR platform. You can't have just one. :)
Hey BT380 have you tried to use your grenade launcher on your Yugo 59/66.
I have it is a lot of fun, here are some of the practice grenades that I use & the blanks.

The green grenade is orange now so I can see it in the tall grass.

A friend of mine uses his Yugo AKMs to launch inert grenades.

I have an adaptor, and blanks...but have yet to find practice grenades at the gun shows I frequent.

Where did you score yours...!?

Not yet, I'm having a little trouble with the gas valve. It's really pitted and I trying to get a replacement from Murray's Gun's. He has the stainless valves and I've ordered one to see if that is all that is wrong for now. Semi-auto is a single shot right now. Such is the used gun world. But thats all part of the fun.

Most of my grenades & stuff I picked up at this gun show.

It is such a complete gun show that if there is anything for military guns that you want, they will have it.
Ah yes...was there in April of 2010...awesome time !!

Fired a full auto Ma Duece...took a week to get the smile offa my face...

Rock & Roll heaven !!
I have a 78 Yugo as well awesome gun and more accurate than some would lead you to believe. I also have a 37 Mosin 91/30 in a Tapco stock that was on the SKS. My next 7.62 is a Saiga AK47 that should arrive tomorrow. It is already converted to accept standard AK mags and I cannot wait to shoot it. Just a shame I will have to wait untill th weekend/\

So does anyone have any experience with the Chinese 20 round fixed mags? If so do you have any you would like to get rid of?
Oh, one of my favorites!

My wife claimed my favorite sks as her own :(

1950 Russian, all original, but I did toss a set of Tech Sights on there. THat thing is a tack driver. The AK is still my "main" gun, but the sks has a strong place in my heart.

I have one, 20 round fixed with the star on the side, sold my other on gunbroker for $85 a few weeks ago. Seen several up there last week that sold form $65-$90. There's one there for $90 now. PM me if your interested in mine as I'm getting ready to put it up there this week.

YeeHaw! Did I get a deal last gun show or what?
I picked this up at the last local gun show, I thought it was a little cheap because I had seen them a few years back for $45.
I haven't had time to put it on my SKS yet.
Yes that sticker says $15.:D:D

Somebody did not know the values of that mag or there is something wrong with it. Make sure the feed lips are not cracked or spread open and the hinge pins are secure in the mounts and it's not cracked there.

I think the guy did not know the values of the mag that is why I grabbed it.
I have seen them at other shows on the area selling for a lot more.
I looked it over real good & didn't see anything wrong with it, feed lips are straight not cracked, the springs are still strong, hinge pins are secure, mounts are good no cracks & very little wear, even the bolt hold open tang is solid. I'll need to see how it fits in my gun.
