Originally from Baltimore, but have been in VA (Fredericksburg area) for about 20 years. I don't yet own a Bersa but hopefully that will change soon. I never really gave Bersa much thought. I've only heard good things about the Thunders but just wasn't interested in a 380. Then I saw the Bersa BP9CC at Gander Mountain. I picked it up and it felt great in my hand. I've been looking for an affordable but high quality CCW that wasn't a "pocket pistol", and that I could actually get all my fingers on. Had it not been for Gander Mountain's prices, I would have walked out with it yesterday. I looked at several reviews and couldn't find much negative to be said. Then I saw a duotone version and the decision was made. I can't wait to find one at a reasonable price.

Maybe not completely, but Gander was high long before everything else spiraled out of control. They are asking MSRP while some websites are still showing below $400. Of course nobody has them in stock though :(
