Well, only liesten to music in the car now. Wife drives so she controls the radio which is usually on country or oldies/solf rock/pop from 60s-70s.

has her own CDs too.

Judds, Dolly parton, Hank, Hank Jr. George Strait, Garth Brooks, Reba, brooks & Dunn and some other hillbilly stuff

Since I don't drive anymore, I can't play what I like. When at home and cleaning the house for her, I listen to classic rock or hard rock on direct t.v. channels.

Ihave my CDs too, but I don't get to listen to them much now.

AC/DC Live & Back in Black, Pink Floy-Darik Sid of the Moon & The Wall, Led Zepplin-Stairway to Heaven,
Creedence Clearwater-Revival, Eric Clapton's-Best, santan-Abraxix, Def Leppard-Pyromania & Hysteria, Boston-Don't Look Back, Deep Purple-Machine head, Aerosmith-Live, Janis Joplin's-Greatest Hits, Iron Butterfly-BALL, Steppenwolf-The Pusher, RUSH-2112, and a little mixed, copied stuff like Collective Souls, Bush, Alice In Chains, and Lynard Skynard. Mostly all killer, no filler.

I don't drive either and my wife plays nothing but new country. I like some of it, but it's not what I want to listen too.
You don't drive either? Cause ya don't wanna or cause you are too blind like me? Doctor kinda advised me to quit driving in 05. Only if I have to. She drove. Had to listen to Dolly Parton and the Judds all the way to C.C. Tex.

I was at the eye specialist yesterday and they checked the eye pressure for the glaucoma problem. Pressure was normal. Already had the both eye surgeries for glaucoma and the left eye for a cataract. Now they have to do the right for a cataract, but he has been puttingit off. Won't help much cause I have optic nerve damage anyway.

When I was a teenager, my favorite artist was Richard Marx. I'd have someone write down the lyrics for me to every song on an album, then I'd memorize. Some songs I can hear the words through music and can "sing-it-along" that way. Other songs blend in to the music too much to the point where I can't distinguish.

Honestly, the older country music like Hobbles named are my choice, except Garth since I lost respect for him when he wouldn't do a smaller venue local to me and then cheated on his wife... I do love my Floyd though, along with CCR, AC/DC, and other classic rock bands. Add in a little Linkin Park or a few of them I'm good to go too.

Yeah, sometimes "I need a little room to breath" too. However, I can't do any "Crawling" cause my Linkin ParK CD is missing. Either my kids or their friends ripped it of at their last keg partyout here on Xmas 2012.

Might be able to burn a copy cause I have it on my hard drive IIRC. Looks like my "Collective Souls" is missig too.

My taste in music have changed dramatically over the years. Rock and roll from the late fifties through the mid sixties when I finished high school, then migrated to Country after a tour Vietnam as I did not care for the hard rock/acid rock. Stayed mostly with Country until it went too much uptown by the mid 90s, so I moved over Classics, instrumental as I can't handle Opera and have since added instrumental blues and jazz to the list. When I moved to classics, DW and I had to come to and agreement as she likes contemporary rock, no music while we are in the car togather.
