Hello everyone. The wife and I are wanting to understand her new BT380 a bit better. We referred to the owner's manual but perhaps overlooked it. When the manual safety is all the way up, red is dead, the pistol is in normal firing mode. All the way down when the red dot is covered it is in safe mode, and also decocks the hammer. However, there is a middle position where the red dot is still visible and the firing pin is still live (so we think?). What is the purpose of this middle position? Thanks.

There is no middle position, at least on my BT Plus, IMHO you may have a rough spot, it should be all the way up or all the way down. Maybe after a little use it will smooth out and operate properly.

^^ This is correct...no "middle" setting.

    UP FIRE or DOWN SAFE

Ok, thanks guys. Perhaps it is a little tight still and just appearing to be a third notch - it has only been to the range once so far. I'll work it up and down for a while and see if it loosens up some...
