Have this 1911 and I want to know more about it, like what it could be worth. Only thing I have is that it's believed to be a 1943 model. What do you think?

I can't see well. If the pic of the right side is marked "Property of the U.S.Army" etc. It's value should be whatever is stated in the blue book of gun values. That is also based on the condition, with no refinish, aftermarket parts, modificationss, replace ment grips, etc. If made in 1943, it should be a 1911A1. The mainspring housing is a dead give away. It has the rounded type and not a flat one as in the earlier models. I will try to get ya some idea when I can get to my blue book.
