it appears to be a barrel pin (no. 16 inthe schematic in my manual). How could this have come out? or did it ship that way?brand new not yet fired. is there a pin missing?
It is difficult to see in your picture, but Bersa switched to a steel roll pin for several of the internal pins about a year ago. If you can see a roll pin in the hole you are good to go. I you can see the frame and barrel sections, then it needs to come see us at the Warranty Center.
higgy thanks. i think it's ok. looks like it just has the new type of design with the roller pin. but it looks like there is wear around where the pin would have been attached, so that was very deceiving.Yep.....pulled out a couple of mine- "looks like" the pin is missing, BUT yours being a 'newer' model??... they may stake them somehow instead of using the pin. Bottom line here- I don't know.
Probably best if you can shot a pic to Royce at American Arsenal & Armory. He will know for sure.
Edit: well.....guess I'm too slow this morning? You guys are already on the ball![]()
thanks much appreciated!I was able to blow up the photo and you can see the roll pin in the hole. You are good to go, with no issues seen.
