I bought one, given that I already had a Thunder 380. Mine was all-matte black, the full size. I had problems with it - failure to extract, failure to eject, and a weird case of 'lock the slide open despite having ammo in the magazine' shooting issues. It randomly caused one of those 3 problems. "Did you limp wrist it?" was the common question. No. This was repeated by 3 other shooters, 1 of which was a service pistol master marksman from the 60's. The pistol was brought in 3 times for warranty repair. "Did you use different ammunition?" Yes. "Did you try the other magazine?" Yes. Did not matter. On the 3rd time, Eagle Imports offered an exchange. I went with the Thunder 9 Pro Ultra Compact. No errors, no failures, no problems, no complaints (after I installed tritium night sights - which was a preference, not an issue of the pistol itself). The Thunder 9 UC, in my experience with those two pistols, is the one to get.
