Hi all. Discovered this forum from a Facebook link.

Have been out of handguns for many years, picked up a Ruger .45ACP last year. Need something soon for CC, and something for my wife, and one or both will likely be a Bersa. Like everyone else, I considered them cheap POS, until I started looking at them and researching them.

I live in NE Mississippi, about 30 miles from Tupelo MS and 60 miles from Memphis TN, just off of US 78, near New Albany.

Greetings, neighbor! I'm just up the road from you a bit in Memphis.

Sounds a lot like my story - I used to be into handguns and shooting a lot more in my younger days but got out of it in 1993. I just started getting back into it a bit in 2010 and have been trying to re-learn everything.

What model(s) of Bersa are you considering? I've got the Bersa Thunder 380 and the 45 UC Pro and have been quite happy with both.
