I have now received word that it is still an on-going thing. There are legal issues that are still being worked. Don't know any details, but that's okay,,,, I'm not qualified in that area.

LOL That's a good one. One would think that they're plowing new ground here. Instead, the fact is this has been done thousands of times (elsewhere, of course) without issue. As I stated months ago, these folks would be far better served by hiring new legal counsel (if, indeed, that is even a valid piece of this puzzle)

Okay... Another 2 months have passed since this thread started and still nothing.
Another discreet inquiry/comment has met dead air. It has been what... about 6 months since the "drawing".
At this point I'm really wondering what is really up. Was the "giveaway" nothing more than a ploy or spoof to gain members???? I don't like being deceived and sincerely hope that this not the case.
IF my forum membership is terminated because of this comment I expect that will be the ultimate answer to my question. Good luck to those that remain hopeful.

The fact is that no one handles a faux pas in this manner. It's just not a principled way of correcting a "goat rope" Ignoring things does not make them go away ... well, maybe it works for forum members Anyway, at this point, they can keep their 380, if indeed they ever had one. But, I must admit, curiosity killed the cat from my perspective.

Well obviously something did happen. And just like Fast and Furious, Bengazi, the IRS we will never know what really happened. So there is really only 2 options accept the fact that the gun is never going to be awarded or just move on to another site.
