Buds is showing the new Combat in their line up. Of course as normal for Bud the picture is wrong .

My self I won't buy from a company that can't tell difference from a American Classic 1911 Made by Metro Arms in Philippines and a Bersa made in Argentina. The only connection between these companys is the importer . Yet Buds will not correct this mistake .

You told them about the mistake, and they refused to fix it? That's nuts, why would they do that to themselves?
They have been told by several people Even the importer has tried Thats what I understand .
I saw this on Bud's page for the Bersa Combat:

*Please Note!! Many of our pictures are stock photo's provided to us by the manufacturer and do not necessarily represent the actual item being purchased. Please verify this picture accurately reflects the product described by the title and description on this page before you place your order.
Sounds like an oxymoron to me.
wow, I've had nothing but good luck with Bud's. I had no idea they were doing that with photos though.
Thats ok Gander Mtn now has a special on a 380 Thunder LITE 299.99 What they show is a duo tone with rubber wrap around grips . I called main number today and told guy who handles complaints and problems . Their is no Bersa Lite that all the Thunders have a alloy frame. He put me on hold came back said it says" light weight" in Bersa discription , So it is a Bersa Lite. I hung up another idiot .

What's a "Bersa Lite"?
What's a "Bersa Lite"?
I guess it is not just me that has an awesome Gander Mountain story to share...I posted this pin the Hi-Point forum, but because it is on topic, I thought I would share:

I feel compelled to share this experience I am going through with Gander Mountain at the Spring, TX location. Take it for what it is worth, and If you have had a good experience with them, I too wish I had that experience.

I bought a Firestorm .22 back in May at a gun show for what I thought was a great deal (still do) for $199. However, the gun was having FTE issues so I took the gun over to Gander Mountain on June 14th for repair, as GM is an authorized factory repair drop off site.

They told me the repairs normally take about 6 weeks to complete, so at the 6 week mark, I dropped by to inquire about the status of the weapon. They stated that they shipped it to their Kenosha, WI store as they no longer have a gunsmith at the location. They were unable to give me an estimate on when it will be finished, only that it is "in queue" to be fixed. I then stopped by about 3 weeks later and was told the same story.

After several phone calls and inquiries, I found out that the gun was at the store for 2 1/2 months before it was shipped to WI and the gun was in the store both times I visited. 2 weeks ago I pressed the manager for a date of when the gun would be completed. The manager stated that he has had the gun put in front of the line and will be done in a week. I went back today, and you guessed it - no gun, and it has not been touched. Nothing in almost 4 months

I have demanded that they overnight it back from WI and return to me on Tuesday. Here is to hoping that I get my property back.

I did get my gun back...4 months later and not repaired. GM lost me for life.

That is really really bad service. I have a SCCY that had to gop back to factory and had the gun plus a extra mag back in less than a week.
"Who is or what is Bud's"?
Bud's Gun Shop. One of the more popular on-line gun dealers. I believe they are located in Kentucky

http://www.budsgunshop.com if you want to visit their web site.
Bud's is not completely wrong. Bersa has the license to distribute the MetroArms guns, Eagle Imports is the the North American distributor for Bersa.
Bersa does not have the license to distribute MetroArms. Eagle imports has exclusive agreements with both Bersa and Metroarms to import, market, and distribute their products in the United States. The only thing in common for Bersa and metroarms is Eagle Imports. Buds is entirely wrong, and years of us trying to get him to change it has proven a waste of time.
No worries qwiksdraw! I get confused by the whole situation too! Have a great day!
Welcome to the Bersa Forum qwiksdraw !!

Which model Bersa do you own...
