I've had a thunder 380 for a couple of years now and it's been problematic since new. Initially it was failure to feed/failure to eject issues that seemed to be resolved with new mec-gar mags. Lately it is locking up after firing where the slide doesn't fully return which keeps the hammer from returning. There is no way to eject the cartridge as everything is locked tight. Some digging around/experimenting has revealed that taking the right grip off and fiddling with the mechanisms would free the slide and allow me to clear the pistol but I no longer trust the gun for normal carry.

Basically, I just want to get the gun repaired so my question concerns that process - ship to address, etc. I am in Tennessee. My original receipt is long gone and I don't mind paying for repair (I really want this gun to be all it can be) so what's the recommended way to get this poor thing fixed?

thanks for your help in getting this little gem back in service...

Tom:

Colorado Gun Works and Wolfgang are regular members here.
I strongly recommend either of these.
I have no doubts the others are also reputable.
Copy down your serial number.
And maybe even take a picture of your gun.
This way you have extra information of which gun is yours.
Let us know how you make out.
Bersa is a fine firearm but even they can produce a firearm with issues.
Again, please keep us in the loop.
And post on here the date you sent it in so you have that exact date recorded.

God bless!!
