Bersa out of business ?

Hi guys and gals, has Bersa gone out of business ? There is no inventory except on auction sites, at incredible discounts, and no magazines or spare parts available from Eagle Imports. Eagle still answers the phone , but won't say anything about product availability. Shame. I own 7 Bersas, not being able to get wear items , and everybody knows the ones I'm talking about, is disconcerting. I hate to think I have 7 unsustainable pistols. Your input needed, I'm new here.

I own 2 BT380,s. After purchase I went to the Bersa website and bought a holster/clip combo for 38 bucks. Feb.2013. The craziness is sad. Ammo is making a slow but steady comeback. Accessories may be a different story.
Eagle is still importing and sending out guns as fast as they can. This is from their facebook page posted two days ago: "We ship to distributors as soon as we get them from Bersa, we do not sell to retailers, the retailers need to contact the distributors for orders. We get shipments 1-2 times a month"
......I hate to think I have 7 unsustainable pistols....
Well, I'd be happy to take them off your hands for you if it helps.
Welcome to the forum. Seem like things are catching up. I went by an area Academy Sports and they were stocked up on handguns again. Only saw Bersa .380s, no other cals. Ammo was still kinda thin. Our local Wally world actually had some pistol ammo Sunday, mostly 40 S&W, .22 sold out 1st day. Same for 9 mil and .45 and .380. More 9 and .45 in Wed. Nothing at the bigger city Wally Worlds around here though.
Welcome to the Bersa Firearms Forum !!

I think this guy is a troll. He caused quite a ruckus on "the other forum". He's about to be kicked off.
Thank You

Hi Dave, If you bothered to read all the posts on "the other forum" I finally got an informed response from Bersa Sales themselves, they acknowledged that they needed to have been more forthcoming about their manufacturing situation and assuaged everyone's' fears about Bersa, they are in fine shape, and the overwhelming demand for their product, especially their 9MM and .45s, was the reason for the scarcity. This is the purpose of a forum, is inquiring adults seeking answers, not angry ******** living in their Mom's basement trying to pick a fight because they obviously don't have a real interesting life. Now that I have my information, I have no need of further discourse. Thank you for your ever so thoughtful and witty analysis of this particular realm of dialogue. Have a nice day
Thanks everyone

for all your help

Actually, you are talking about two different issues. I've been on this forum since it started, and the "other" forum for years. I know BersaSales on both forums, and I am on first-name basis with Eagle. So, if you want to argue this point, PM me on either one, and we can settle it.

You caused a ruckus on the other forum. I know the mods and admins on this forum won't tolerate it here. If you can't behave and maintain a civilized conversation, you will be kicked off.

If you want to talk about Bersa handguns. Continue. If you want to talk about other issues that are inappropriate, leave.
Wow , you said that like it actually means something. In case you can't read, I got my answer from Bersa. you don't count. If you are talking to Bersa daily and am on a first name basis with "them", then we will all draw the appropriate conclusions from your statement. It's a good thing it's almost my bedtime, I will have something to laugh about as I slip into my slumber. I DON't feel sorry for you , dude. Good day, thanks for all your help, I don't do the PM thing, if you have the cahoneys, "PM" me for my phone number, or pick a meeting place, and we will discuss the crux of our disagreement.
Looks like drama for drama's sake! So let me get this straight, this dragon guy came here to post his "sky is falling" content. He doesn't contribute to the rest of the content of the site. Then proceeds to disrespect a contributing member, is that correct? OK Got it!

Supply will catch up with demand. All manufacturers are going through this.
