Anybody tried cerakoting a thunder 380?

I recently bought a Thunder 380 in black. Nice weapon, great grips shoots great. I was wanting, however, to change the color make up of this pistol mostly for cosmetic reasons, I was wondering if anybody has used duracoat or cerakoat for this and what the results may be.
Pride of ownership is important and I want to have the gun with the looks that I want, even though it is a carry weapon and nobody will see it unless I have to present it. It still is important to me to have the gun that I like. I know this may sound rather vane but we all have our preferences. Just like a car, If I can afford it, I care about the color.
I am also considering duracoating/ ceraKoating other firearms that I have and I would like to hear any way stories along these lines.
