Welcome. Hate to hear the Bersa didn't work the first go around. I have the Plus- carried it for years. Just recently retired it. Guess I should pull them all out and fire them up some day.

Welcome. I'm fairly new here myself. I too had issues with my new-in-the-box Bersa Thunder. Mag release would not work. Off for warranty service. Waiting tohear what the outcome will be. Please share your issue so wecan be aware. Thanks.

My problem was that the hammer would never fall. You could pull the trigger as hard as you wanted and nothing, it would never trip the hammer.

My local shop sent it to American Arsenal & Armory and they fixed it up. (Thanks, y'all!)

Ran about 100 rounds through it last week with no problems, at all. Lots of fun!

glad you got it fixed. mine is the TPR .380 Plus, same as yours with a few changes in the styling. it has been 100% reliable.

I had that same problem with a brand new CZ-75B in the past... sort of. If you pulled the trigger a certain way, the DA trigger would never release the hammer; but only if you pulled it a certain way (simultaneously rearward and to the left), which I guess I was doing. Sent it to CZ-USA for warranty work. When I got it back, the repair tag said there was a burr that they filed away. That must have been one heck of a burr! No indication of where it was located, though.

Glad to hear you got it fixed and are enjoying it now.
