.380 Combat Version?

My quandry..... a while back I traded my Bersa .380 Deluxe model at a gun show for another brand and larger caliber of firearm. My regrets since.

Recently I purchased a Bersa .380cc and REALLY enjoy this firearm!

Now my head is turned looking at the new Bersa Thunder .380 Combat version.....do I need it? Does the Combat version offer anything more than a standard version of Bersa? Would it be an unnecessary duplication to my .380cc? Would I just be wasting money?

I already have a couple of larger caliber pistols, so that's not a valid suggestion.

All opinions will be given due consideration toward my final decision.

Combat has dove tail front and real sights. slighty different slide I think I read . Has the horrible wrap around grips in green Trigger guard hook more rounded. Think about covers it. I might try buying a slide in about a year and swaping on my thunder.
I'd keep the CC. That's just me!
My wife and I are going for our CC class Jan 19, she plans to qualify with my Thunder Plus. I'm looking for something for her to carry in her purse, I'm torn between the CC and the Combat, just wish the Combat didn't have the cheezy green grip.
My Opinion

First and foremost, Money spent on a firearm is NEVER wasted. I have bought and sold firearms for most of my adult life. If you think you want or need it you regret not getting it. And if you get it you always ask why. I do not own a combat version so I cannot give you a review. However I can tell you that every time I go into my cabinet, I always say to myself, You can never have enough..

My opinion... get the gun cause you want it!

I don't have to Need it!
I have a duotone and a combat, I have medium to large size hands, my combat has black not green grips (not that I would care either way), I find the combat grip much more comfortable to hold and feel more confident when practicing draw drills.

Own both!! The CC is a great pistol, as is the Combat. I think there are enough slight differences to justify owning both :) Personally, I like the green grip.

ok your last post was quite a while ago but it looks like you have a 9 cap mag for your combat bersa? ive heard they dont fit, what do u say? what fits what doesnt?
The combat is my daughters daily carry, the duotone my sons and the 9uc pro is mine. All three are very good shooters. Mags have never been a problem, they all fit fine in their respective guns, in fact, my son has 3 mags from promag that run perfectly. The only issues we have, my sons doesn't seem to like steel case ammo, and I find my accuracy is off in my 9uc with flat nose bullets like PMC.
I have two CCs and want a combat myself. I don't need it though. I don't need an armscor m206 either but I keep looking at it. The m206 has six shots unlike my taurus ultralite so I think I need it but ....

The Combat version sold in Mexico has black grips : ) Strange the US version has green ones. They look ok in my opinion.
