In a hope to get more interest going, I have borrowed the idea for this thread from another forum. The thread has been around for a while, so to date there are over 1300 responses.

I'll start with it being a rarity for me, but I have been involved with gun activity two days in a row. Yesterday I picked up a nice range bag and a bore snake at Wally World. Today I set up the new range bag and cleaned my primary EDC and broke in the new bore snake in the process..

Range day at the farm. Went through a 30 caliber ammo can full of 22 long rifle. 50 rounds of 22 magnum, 300 rounds of 45acp, half a spam can of 7.62x54R, 400 rounds of 223, and about 30 rounds of 7.62x39 trying to get an SKS working. Hoping to get some range reports posted up over the next week.

It rained here all day, so I took the time to mount a new Bushnell 3x9x46 on my new CVA Accura .50 cal ML.

Cleaned a few handguns and rifles that had been shot within the last 2-3 weeks, They were just waiting for a rainy day..;)

Actually, a lazy day for me.

Sounds like Sarge had a fun gun related day..

I placed an order with Eagle Imports 3+ months ago and just received the back order portion today. I received two mag springs and feeder platforms.
So toady I upgraded a Pro-Mag and a Bersa CC mag. The thing is I bought these mags used and thought for a few buck it would be fun to rebuild them. The Bersa feeder platform replaces the cheap Pro-mag perfectly and I never got use to the plastic feeder platform on the CC.
Next I used a scale to measure how much pressure it takes to move the springs. All five of the mags registered about 35 to 40 ounces. It might be handy info someday.

Hunted squirrels..........
Skwerlz are evil. We must not be fooled. They are out to eliminate the humans. They must be eliminated with extreme prejudice. The best way is with dumplings, or a Brunswick stew. Be quick, they are assimilating the rabbits.

Nothing much other than wiping down my BT380 with a silicone gun cloth. On Sundays it's hard for me to do anything except watch football!

Guess I have some catching up to do on this one. After the M in law's funeral last Mondy, sat around with my nephew & gunshow buddy looking at my new aquisitions. Didn' have enough time to shoot any.

Tuesday. Contacted my local gun trading friend, the Postal Postmaster. Asked if he had done any trading since the previous week. He said that he had bought one of 2 Winchester 94's at an area pawn shop. Both were mechanically sound & about 80% finish overall. However, one of them had a 3 digit serial #, 8XX. That put it in the first year production. He would bring it over. He came later and i checked it out. It was solid except for a slightly loose buttstock with a curved steel buttplate, little wear except for blue, and only 350 OTD. It was marked 30 WCF. We are both too blind to read the rest. I was unsure if it was rebarreled or not. Couldn't see much damage to the bore as it was a black powder cartridge era rifle. He was taking it to his brother that works at a large gunshop to have it checked up and appraised. By the Fjestad's book, mine being several years old, it showed @ 3.700. estimated value if it had not been altered in any way.

Wed. Started cleaning guns, only time I really do. for the gunshow. Packing stuff. Making rubber band guns for the kiddies.

Thurs. Still packing stuff and cleaning guns for the gunshow.

Friday. Left to go set up at the gunshow. Got there kinda early to beat the rain coming in from Mexico.

Sat. All day at the gunshow looking at used guns going by. Making some trades. Bought some ammo, beef jerky. Got a little wet cause the metal roff was leaking in places with the blowing wind from the storms.

Sunday. All day at the gunshow. Same as Sat. except the wind had changed from the north. Raincoming from the other direction.

Monday. Test fired a couple of pistols I aquired at the show. Took pics.

Tuesday. Iinkered with my new guns, cleaned them.

Wed, today. Went to the doctor with the wife. Only got to go look around the gun counter at Academy Sports for 30 minutes. Looking for some leather.

Had planned on a trip to the range yesterday or today, but a mild cold has prevented that from happening, so when all else fails, clean one under the guise of doing PM. I cleaned and wiped down my spare 9UC. I'm not really sure yet how the humidity down here is going to affect my guns.

Went to the LGS to pick up my Ruger magazines that came in. The brown truck of happiness showed up while I was there and I scored a brick of 22 lr. The little brown truck also delivered three Taurus brushed stainless ultralight snubby 38 specials. $306.........

Called my buddy, the Postal Postmaster. I was checking to see what he did with the antique Model 94 Wincehester. He said nothing yet. He tried to score a used .410 single shot off a local, but the guy wanted a bill for it. He only wanted to give 50 bucks.

Dug through my ammo supply to find some better .40 cal to shoot in the PT-140. I got a couple of little pops from the Brass Maxx stuff I was shooting. Ran 3 mags of Remmy FMJs through it with no problems. Recoil was a good bit more than with the other ammo also.

Got my HiPoint 995 out back and shined the laser & light at the brush line. Dogs had been barking since it got dark. Didn't see anything, but it stopped the barking at least.
